• Sulfate Free:Sulfates, such as Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) and Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES, are powerful detergents made of sulfur-containing mineral salts. SLS and SLES can irritate the skin, especially with long-term use.
• Phthalate Free: Phthalates are a family of chemical compounds that are used primarily to make polyvinyl chloride (PVC), or vinyl, supple and flexible. They are one of the most commonly used plasticizers in the world. Shown to damage the liver, kidneys, lungs and reproductive systems in animal studies, phthalates can be absorbed through the skin or inhaled.
